FINDER OF FALSE GODS.
The biography for Walkyr Akuholt.
The Man Himself.

Walkyr Akuholt. A Viera of the Veena tribe, standing at a solid 186cm (6'1"), and renowned as an adventurer and Warrior of Light. With deep blue eyes and a strong gaze, he undertakes any challenge in his way. Whether it be the primals or strong opponents he seeks, or the simpler hobby related troubles, like crafting and gathering, he puts his all into everything he does. It's the reason he's ended up as an omnicrafter and gatherer, after all. While he appears as a regular old hero, one trying to do the right thing and save the world when the time comes... In reality, his driving force is the thrill of a good fight. It doesn't show much on his face, but... In a heated battle, the fire in his eyes is unlike any other. As an offset, however, his social skills aren't quite as strong as others. He has trouble communicating with others, especially women he might find to be attractive. As combat focused as he is, even he can feel something like attraction.Despite that, though, Walkyr is more than happy to be approached. He might not be the best in conversation, but he's a combatant that any allies can count on, and one that any opponents should be concerned about. He can usually be found either in Ishgard, The Firmament specifically, making bits and bobs or assisting in Ishgard's restoration, or out in the world itself, anywhere from Eorzea to beyond the land he calls home.

Every Warrior of Light has their own story. Their own version of events they've experienced over time, resulting in their own journeys to the same points and events in time. This is Walkyr's story.
The Beginning, Seventh Umbral Era - Seventh Astral Era (2.0-2.55)
Unlike some, Walkyr's adventures did not start prior to the Seventh Umbral Calamity, and the five year gap in time that followed. While being a Warrior of Light, he wasn't one of those Warriors of Light, if that made sense. Before arriving in Ul'dah, Walkyr began his life with his tribe, deep in the Golmore Jungle along with the rest of his people. At age four, he was whisked away to learn more about how to fight and survive in the world, gaining a basic proficiency with a sword, and learning of an aptitude for magic. It was something that he wanted to further explore, but was unable to before growing into adulthood, as mages were uncommon in his tribe. Eventually, though, his curiosity and desire for more outside of the greenery he'd called home called to him, and he left the forest, breaking the Green Word and being banished. A small price to pay for enjoying the world at large, he thought to himself. He could only get so much fulfillment out of protecting his people, after all. The fire that burned within him, the thrill of the fight, it wanted more. And more it would have.Which brought him to Ul'dah, traveling quite some way in order to do so. He'd initially arrived with the intention of learning more of the ways of thaumaturgy, but those plans were put on hold later once he'd realized just how much more he preferred holding a blade, not casting spells, which resulted in his shift from a Thaumaturge to a Rouge, and then a Ninja. Still, he went through the motions of what one might expect from a tale such as his. Meeting Thancred, discovering the Ascians, learning of the Calamity five years prior, so on and so forth. Becoming a Scion wasn't something he'd been opposed to, as judging from the way things were going, the more time he spent with this group, the more likely they'd provide bigger challenges for him to face. Taking on the primals, the Garleans, everything that threatened the realm was something he didn't even need to be convinced of, not only wanting to protect these people that cared about him, but also to take on their strongest. It quickly earned Walkyr a reputation for eikon slaying, amongst other things, something that would stick with him until the present day.His adventures between the defeat of Gaius van Baelsar and the feast in Ul'dah were mostly unremarkable. The defeats of multiple primals, the loss of a friend... But more importantly, the changing of a primary job. Being a Ninja had served him well, but the katana called to him, almost. Utilizing the skills he'd learned in his childhood, he took up his main job as a Samurai, further shaping his legacy in another light. Back to that feast, though... Everything was falling apart. Being accused of regicide, having to flee and losing track of his friends... It was horrific. Terrifying. And he had to do what he could to get them back. Thank the Twelve he was able to find shelter in Ishgard, connections he'd made along the way serving him well. It was time to look away from what had come before, and instead look to the heavens for a brighter future.

Follow These, If you Please.
Howdy folks! Real quick before I get into the rules and stuff, I'm Flame. Thanks for reading the Carrd (hopefully)! At time of writing this, it's still a WIP overall, but it gets the core info out there, so hopefully you folks like Walkyr! Now, with that said, couple of lines I want to draw real quick. First off, don't push for replies right away, give me some time to get to stuff. I juggle a couple of accounts, after all, so I'm not going to be able to/always have the energy to reply to everything right away. I do a lot, granted, but not all the time. I'll reply when I can, so be patient, please. If it's been a week or so minimum, then don't be afraid to bump, it's probably slipped my mind a bit. Also, don't be an asshole. That's the easiest way I can put it, I'm just out here trying to write and enjoying my hobby. I don't want to dread coming on here and doing my thing, so if you have any problems with me, please talk to me directly and let me know. I'm a big fan of communication and working stuff out if we can, and if we can't resolve things, at least we can say we tried. That's the immediate stuff I can think of, I might add more rules over time. Not sure yet. My time in the verse has been fun though, so hopefully I don't have to! Thanks again for reading, and don't be afraid to interact with my posts or @ me on the TL!
